Bajaj Auto has launched the updated Pulsar NS200 in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1,60,374 in Delhi. The latest version receives significant technological and mechanical upgrades, strengthening its appeal in the competitive 200cc motorcycle segment. The motorcycle retains its 199.5cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine, now producing a claimed 25.5 PS of maximum power and approximately 18.7 Nm of peak torque. A six-speed gearbox continues to handle transmission duties. The updated engine delivers slightly higher power than its predecessor.
The biggest highlight is the new 5-inch colour TFT instrument console, replacing the previous display. It supports Google Maps mirroring for navigation. Other additions include electronic throttle-by-wire, selectable ride modes, traction control and a bidirectional quickshifter for clutchless gear changes under suitable conditions. The motorcycle also receives a USB Type-C charging port, adjustable levers, a hazard warning switch and Panic Brake Alert technology.
The NS200 retains its aggressive streetfighter styling, muscular fuel tank, LED lighting and perimeter frame. Hardware upgrades include 37mm upside-down front forks and a radial rear tyre, intended to improve handling and stability. With its enhanced electronics, revised suspension hardware and modest power increase, the updated Pulsar NS200 offers a more technology-focused package for performance-oriented riders.
