Mahindra has officially launched the XUV 3XO ZNG, a new CNG-powered version of its popular compact SUV, in India on October 15, 2026. The starting price is ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), according to the company official announcement. The new SUV uses a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol CNG engine. Mahindra says it produces 82 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque in both petrol and CNG modes. The company also claims a certified fuel efficiency of 24.7 km/kg. Actual mileage may vary depending on driving conditions.
One of the key highlights is its twin cylinder CNG setup beneath the luggage area. According to Mahindra, this design helps maintain useful boot space. The SUV also gets six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and ISOFIX child-seat mounts as standard. The XUV 3XO ZNG is available in four variants, with prices reaching ₹12.27 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings and deliveries are scheduled to begin on October 20, 2026.
The launch date, starting price, engine output and claimed mileage are stated in Mahindra official announcement. These are confirmed company claims, while real-world mileage is not guaranteed. Any additional claims about performance or customer savings should be treated as estimates unless independently verified.
