A Mumbai magistrate court on Wednesday remanded three accused in the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff to police custody until October 31, 2026.
The accused, identified as Rehan alias Sukka, Phool Singh and Ritik Kurmi alias Roshan, were apprehended in Kota, Rajasthan, and subsequently brought to Mumbai. The Mumbai Crime Branch sought 14 days of custody to investigate the alleged conspiracy, establish the motive and recover the weapons used in the incident. The firing took place on October 18 in Mumbai Juhu area, when at least two men allegedly opened fire at Shroff car before fleeing on a motorcycle. The actor escaped without major injuries, while his driver and a pedestrian sustained injuries, according to media reports.
During the court proceedings, police reportedly informed the court that the firearms had yet to be recovered. Investigators also alleged that two mobile phones connected to the case had been destroyed. The defence opposed the extended custody, arguing that the accused had already been questioned during transit remand. Separately, the Delhi Police Special Cell arrested four additional suspects allegedly linked to the supply of firearms in the case. Investigators are continuing to examine the alleged network and circumstances surrounding the shooting. The allegations against all accused remain subject to judicial proceedings.
