A tragic incident in Gurugram, Haryana, has left two families in shock after a 30 year old IT professional and his 28 year old wife were found dead inside their rented flat. The case came to light after the husband, Mohammad Aslam, sent an email to his employer at around 7 am, saying that they were leaving this world. According to reports, Aslam had also shared contact details of his parents and landlord in the email and asked his company to inform them. His colleagues contacted the landlord, who reached the couple flat in the M3M Marina residential society and alerted the police.

The deceased woman, Farhana, was reportedly close to celebrating her 28th birthday. Police found a handwritten note inside the flat and collected electronic devices and other items for forensic examination. Investigators suspect that Aslam may have killed his wife before dying by suicide. However, the exact cause of death and the sequence of events are still being investigated. Police have registered a murder case, and the post mortem and forensic findings are expected to provide more clarity.

The couple originally belonged to Kerala and had moved from Bengaluru to Gurugram around three months ago. Family members described their relationship as close and said they were unaware of any serious marital problems. Relatives also said Aslam had been receiving treatment for depression. Police are examining the evidence to understand what led to the deaths. The suspected reason has not been confirmed.
